નિનવે પાણીના સરોવર જેવું છે, જેમ પાણી વહી જાય છે તેમ તેનાથી લોકો દૂર નાસી જાય છે. તેઓ પોકારે છે, “ઊભા રહો, ઊભા રહો,” પણ કોઈ પાછું ફરતું નથી.

But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.
