ఈ దయ్యం అతన్ని చంపాలని ఎన్నోసార్లు నిప్పుల్లో, నీళ్ళలో పడేసింది. నీవేమైనా చేయగలిగితే కనికరించి సహాయం చెయ్యి” అని వేడుకున్నాడు.

And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
