ఆరు రోజుల తరవాత యేసు పేతురు, యాకోబు, యోహానులను తీసుకుని ఏకాంతంగా ఒక ఎతైన కొండ మీదికి వెళ్ళాడు. అక్కడ వారి ముందు యేసు రూపాంతరం చెందాడు.

¶ And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
