ஆறு நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு, இயேசு பேதுருவையும், யாக்கோபையும், யோவானையும் அழைத்து, உயர்ந்த மலையின்மேல் அவர்களைத் தனியே கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக மறுரூபமடைந்தார்.

¶ And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
