และกษั​ตริ​ย์จึงทรงปฏิญาณตัวไว้กับหญิงสาวนั้​นว​่า “เธอจะขอสิ่งใดๆจากเรา เราจะให้​สิ​่งนั้นแก่เธอจนถึงครึ่งราชสมบั​ติ​ของเรา”

And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.
