அப்பொழுது எதிர்க்காற்று வீசிக்கொண்டிருந்ததால், அவர்கள் கஷ்டப்பட்டு துடுப்பு போடுகிறதை அவர் பார்த்து, அதிகாலையில் கடலின்மேல் நடந்து அவர்களிடம் வந்து, அவர்களைக் கடந்துபோகிறவர்போல காணப்பட்டார்.

And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
