માર્ક 6:20

કેમ કે હેરોદ યોહાનને ન્યાયી તથા પવિત્ર માણસ જાણીને તેનાથી ડરતો, તેને સુરક્ષિત રાખતો હતો. તે તેને સાંભળતો અને તેનું સાંભળીને બહુ ગૂંચવણમાં પડતો હતો, તોપણ ખુશીથી તેનું સાંભળતો હતો.

For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
