ఎందుకంటే భూమి దానంతట అదే పండుతుంది. మొదట మొలక, ఆ తరువాత కంకి, ఆ కంకి నిండా గింజలు పుడతాయి.

For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
