كَانَ يُوحَنَّا يُعَمِّدُ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ وَيَكْرِزُ بِمَعْمُودِيَّةِ ٱلتَّوْبَةِ لِمَغْفِرَةِ ٱلْخَطَايَا.
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
