وَلَمَّا كَانَ ٱلْمَسَاءُ، إِذْ كَانَ ٱلِٱسْتِعْدَادُ، أَيْ مَا قَبْلَ ٱلسَّبْتِ،
¶ And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
