ఈ ఉపమానం తమ గురించే చెప్పాడని వారు గ్రహించారు. కనుక ఆయనను బంధించాలని చూశారు కాని, ప్రజల గుంపును చూసి జంకారు. అందువల్ల ఆయనను వదిలి వెళ్ళిపోయారు.

And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
