மரித்தவர்கள் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருப்பதைப்பற்றி: நான் ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனும், ஈசாக்கின் தேவனும், யாக்கோபின் தேவனுமாக இருக்கிறேன் என்று, தேவன் முள்செடியைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லிய இடத்தில், மோசேயின் புத்தகத்தில் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னதை நீங்கள் வாசிக்கவில்லையா?

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
