இயேசுவிற்கு மறுமொழியாக: எங்களுக்குத் தெரியாது என்றார்கள். அப்பொழுது இயேசு: நானும் எந்த அதிகாரத்தினால் இவைகளைச் செய்கிறேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லமாட்டேன் என்றார்.

And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
