యేసు, ఆయనతో ఉన్నవారంతా యెరూషలేము బయలుదేరారు. యేసు అందరికన్నా ముందు నడుస్తూ ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన శిష్యులకు ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగింది. ఆయనను అనుసరిస్తున్న ఇతరులు భయపడ్డారు. యేసు మళ్ళీ తన శిష్యులను పక్కకు పిలిచి, తనకు జరగబోయే వాటిని గురించి వారికి చెప్పాడు.

¶ And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,
