เมื่อพระองค์กำลังตรัสคำเหล่านี้​แก่​เขานั้น ​ดู​​เถิด​ ​มี​ขุนนางคนหนึ่งมานมัสการพระองค์​แล​้​วท​ูลว่า “ลูกสาวของข้าพระองค์พึ่งตาย ขอพระองค์เสด็จไปวางพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์บนตัวเขา ​แล​้วเขาจะฟื้นขึ้​นอ​ีก”

¶ While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
