​แล​้วพวกสาวกของยอห์นมาหาพระองค์ทูลว่า “​เหตุ​ไฉนพวกข้าพระองค์และพวกฟาริ​สี​ถืออดอาหารบ่อยๆ ​แต่​พวกสาวกของพระองค์​ไม่​ถืออดอาหาร”

¶ Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
