ఆయన ఈ మాటలు వారితో చెబుతూ ఉండగానే ఒక అధికారి వచ్చి ఆయనకు మొక్కి, “నా కూతురు ఇప్పుడే చనిపోయింది. అయినా నీవు వచ్చి ఆమె మీద నీ చెయ్యి ఉంచితే ఆమె బతుకుతుంది” అన్నాడు.

¶ While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
