மத்தேயு 9:9

இயேசு அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போகும்போது, வரிவசூல் மையத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த மத்தேயு என்னும் ஒரு மனிதனைக் கண்டு: எனக்குப் பின்னே வா என்றார்; அவன் எழுந்து, அவருக்குப் பின்னேசென்றான்.

¶ And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
