மத்தேயு 9:14

அப்பொழுது, யோவானுடைய சீடர்கள் அவரிடம் வந்து: நாங்களும் பரிசேயர்களும் அநேகமுறை உபவாசிக்கிறோமே; உம்முடைய சீடர்கள் உபவாசிக்காமல் இருக்கிறது ஏன் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.

¶ Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
