மத்தேயு 6:5

அன்றியும் நீ ஜெபம்செய்யும்போது மாயக்காரர்களைப்போல இருக்கவேண்டாம்; மனிதர்கள் பார்க்கும்படியாக அவர்கள் ஜெப ஆலயங்களிலும் வீதிகளின் முற்சந்திகளிலும் நின்று ஜெபம்செய்ய விரும்புகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பலனை அடைந்து தீர்ந்ததென்று உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

¶ And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
