மத்தேயு 6:2

ஆகவே, நீ தர்மம் செய்யும்போது, மனிதர்களால் புகழப்படுவதற்கு, மாயக்காரர்கள் ஆலயங்களிலும் வீதிகளிலும் செய்வதுபோல, உனக்கு முன்பாகத் தாரை ஊதாதே; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பலனை அடைந்து தீர்ந்தார்களென்று உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
