മത്തായി 5:32

ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതു: പരസംഗം ഹേതുവായിട്ടല്ലാതെ ഭാര്യയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നു; ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചവളെ ആരെങ്കിലും വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചാൽ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
