Mateus 2:16

Quando Herodes percebeu que tinha sido enganado pelos magos, ficou muito zangado. Ele enviou homens para matar todos os meninos que tivessem dois anos de idade ou menos em Belém e nas regiões próximas. Ele se baseou no período de tempo em que os magos o tinham informado.

¶ Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
