മത്തായി 2:6

“യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ ബേത്ത്ലേ ഹെമേ, യെഹൂദ്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ ഒട്ടും ചെറുതല്ല; എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ മേയ്പാനുള്ള തലവൻ നിന്നിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരും” എന്നിങ്ങനെ പ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
