അവനെ ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിച്ചു എന്നു അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത യൂദാ കണ്ടു അനുതപിച്ചു, ആ മുപ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ മടക്കി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു:
