وَكَانَ ٱلْوَالِي مُعْتَادًا فِي ٱلْعِيدِ أَنْ يُطْلِقَ لِلْجَمْعِ أَسِيرًا وَاحِدًا، مَنْ أَرَادُوهُ.

Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
