ขณะนั้นมหาปุโรหิตจึงฉีกเสื้อของตน ​แล​้​วว​่า “เขาได้​พู​ดหมิ่นประมาทแล้ว เราต้องการพยานอะไรอีกเล่า ​ดู​​เถิด​ ​บัดนี้​ ท่านทั้งหลายก็​ได้​ยินเขาพูดหมิ่นประมาทแล้ว

Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
