Jezus ging het tempelterrein op. Terwijl Hij aan het onderwijzen was, kwamen de hoofdpriesters en de volksoudsten naar Hem toe. Ze vroegen: “Op grond van welke bevoegdheid doet U deze dingen? En wie heeft U die bevoegdheid gegeven?”
