ప్రజలు వారిని కేకలు వేయవద్దని గద్దించారు గాని వారు, “ప్రభూ, దావీదు కుమారా, మమ్మల్ని కరుణించు” అని ఇంకా పెద్దగా కేకలు వేశారు.

And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
