மத்தேயு 1:23

அவன்: “இதோ, ஒரு கன்னிகை கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு மகனைப் பெறுவாள்; அவருக்கு இம்மானுவேல் என்று பெயரிடுவார்கள்” என்று சொன்னான். இம்மானுவேல் என்பதற்கு தேவன் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார் என்று அர்த்தம்.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
