มัทธิว 19:8

​พระองค์​ตรัสแก่เขาว่า “โมเสสได้​ยอมให้​ท่านทั้งหลายหย่าภรรยาของตน เพราะใจท่านทั้งหลายแข็งกระด้าง ​แต่​เมื่อเดิมมิ​ได้​เป็นอย่างนั้น

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
