மத்தேயு 19:9

ஆதலால், எவனாவது தன் மனைவி வேசித்தனம் செய்ததினிமித்தமேயன்றி, அவளை விவாகரத்து செய்துவிட்டு வேறொரு பெண்ணைத் திருமணம்செய்தால், அவன் விபசாரம் செய்கிறவனாக இருப்பான்; விவாகரத்து செய்யப்பட்டவளைத் திருமணம் செய்கிறவனும் விபசாரம் செய்கிறவனாக இருப்பான் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
