Matteus 19:21

Jesus svarade: ”Vill du vara fullkomlig [och verkligen älska din nästa som dig själv som mannen hävdade att han gjorde, se vers 19], gå och sälj vad du äger och ge åt de fattiga. Då kommer du att ha en skatt i himlen. Kom sedan och följ mig.” [För en sådan yttre handling skulle det behövas en inre förvandling. Jesus visste var mannens hjärta och skatt fanns: i hans rikedom, se Matt 6:21.]

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
