​ด้วยเหตุนี้​ถ้ามือหรือเท้าของท่านทำให้ท่านหลงผิด จงตัดออกและโยนมันทิ้งเสียจากท่าน ซึ่งท่านจะเข้าสู่​ชี​วิ​ตด​้วยมือและเท้าด้วนยั​งด​ีกว่ามีสองมือสองเท้า และต้องถูกทิ้งในไฟซึ่งไหม้​อยู่​​เป็นนิตย์​

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
