മത്തായി 18:9

നിന്റെ കണ്ണു നിനക്കു ഇടർച്ച ആയാൽ അതിനെ ചൂന്നെടുത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളക; രണ്ടു കണ്ണുള്ളവനായി അഗ്നിനരകത്തിൽ വീഴുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ ഒററക്കണ്ണനായി ജീവനിൽ കടക്കുന്നതു നിനക്കു നന്നു.

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
