マタイの福音書 18:8

もし、あなたの手か足の一つがあなたをつまずかせるなら、それを切って捨てなさい。片手片足でいのちにはいるほうが、両手両足そろっていて永遠の火に投げ入れられるよりは、あなたにとってよいことです。

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
