つまずきを与えるこの世は忌まわしいものです。つまずきが起こることは避けられないが、つまずきをもたらす者は忌まわしいものです。
¶ Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
