കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ മകനോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; അവൻ ചന്ദ്രരോഗം പിടിച്ചു പലപ്പോഴും തീയിലും പലപ്പോഴും വെള്ളത്തിലും വീണു വല്ലാത്ത കഷ്ടത്തിലായ്പോകുന്നു.

Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
