เพราะถ้าผู้ใดจะได้​สิ​่งของสิ้นทั้งโลก ​แต่​ต้องสูญเสียจิตวิญญาณของตน ​ผู้​นั้นจะได้​ประโยชน์​​อะไร​ หรือผู้นั้นจะนำอะไรไปแลกเอาจิตวิญญาณของตนกลับคืนมา

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
