മത്തായി 13:22

മുള്ളിന്നിടയിൽ വിതെക്കപ്പെട്ടതോ, ഒരുത്തൻ വചനം കേൾക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ചിന്തയും ധനത്തിന്റെ വഞ്ചനയും വചനത്തെ ഞെരുക്കീട്ടു നിഷ്ഫലനായി തീരുന്നതാകുന്നു.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
