Ada juga yang jatuh di tanah berbatu-batu. Lalu benih itu bertunas dan cepat tumbuh. Tetapi waktu sinar matahari mulai panas, tunas benih itu menjadi layu dan kering karena lapisan tanah di situ tipis sehingga akarnya tidak bisa masuk lebih dalam.
