Maleachi 2:16

Want Ik haat de echtscheiding, zegt de Here, de God van Israël, en dat men zijn gewaad met geweldpleging overdekt, zegt de Here der heerscharen. Daarom, weest op uw hoede voor uw hartstocht en weest niet ontrouw.

For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
