ต่อมาเมื่อสองคนนั้นกำลังลาไปจากพระองค์ เปโตรจึงทูลพระเยซู​ว่า​ “พระอาจารย์​เจ้าข้า​ ซึ่งเราอยู่​ที่นี่​​ก็ดี​ ​ให้​พวกข้าพระองค์ทำพลับพลาสามหลัง สำหรับพระองค์หลังหนึ่ง สำหรับโมเสสหลังหนึ่ง สำหรับเอลียาห์หลังหนึ่ง” เปโตรไม่​เข​้าใจว่าตัวได้​พู​ดอะไร
