అప్పుడు యోహాను తన శిష్యుల్లో ఇద్దరిని పిలిచి, “రావలసిన వాడివి నువ్వేనా? లేక మరొకరి కోసం మేము ఎదురు చూడాలా?” అని అడగడానికి వారిని ప్రభువు దగ్గరికి పంపించాడు.

¶ And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
