അവൻ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ വാതിലോടു അടുത്തപ്പോൾ മരിച്ചുപോയ ഒരുത്തനെ പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു; അവൻ അമ്മക്കു ഏകജാതനായ മകൻ; അവളോ വിധവ ആയിരുന്നു. പട്ടണത്തിലെ ഒരു വലിയ പുരുഷാരവും അവളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
