ലൂക്കൊസ് 6:9

അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്നു. യേശു അവരോടു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ഒന്നു ചോദിക്കട്ടെ: ശബ്ബത്തിൽ നന്മ ചെയ്കയോ തിന്മ ചെയ്കയോ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയോ നശിപ്പിക്കയോ ഏതു വിഹിതം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
