સવાર થતાં ઈસુએ પોતાના શિષ્યોને બોલાવીને તેઓમાંના બારને પસંદ કર્યા, જેઓને તેમણે પસંદ કર્યા તેઓને ‘પ્રેરિતો’ એવું નામ આપ્યું.
