เมื่อวันทำพิธีชำระตัวของนางมารีย์ตามพระราชบัญญั​ติ​ของโมเสสเสร็จลงแล้ว เขาทั้งหลายจึงนำพระกุมารไปยังกรุงเยรูซาเล็มจะถวายแด่​องค์​​พระผู้เป็นเจ้า​

And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
