ലൂക്കൊസ് 2:4

അങ്ങനെ യോസേഫും ദാവീദിന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിലും കുലത്തിലും ഉള്ളവൻ ആകകൊണ്ടു തനിക്കു വിവാഹം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്ന മറിയ എന്ന ഗർഭിണിയായ ഭാര്യയോടും കൂടെ ചാർത്തപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഗലീലയിലെ നസറെത്ത് പട്ടണം വിട്ടു,

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
