ฝ่ายคนหนึ่งในผู้ร้ายที่​ถู​กตรึงไว้จึงพูดหยาบช้าต่อพระองค์​ว่า​ “ถ้าท่านเป็นพระคริสต์ จงช่วยตัวเองกับเราให้รอดเถิด”

¶ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
